The lion as the symbol of the other
From the perspective of the Gwi,
a hunting tribe of the Kalahari Desert
The Gwi bushmen are a hunting tribe in southern Africa. Their behavior and legends show that they see themselves as having been created together with the animals. They have survived by competing with others stronger than themselves, such as the lion. From this, I'd like to blow a hole through the arrogance of humans from civilized society.
